Los Angeles is 3,000 miles from home, playing its fifth straight on the road. It's the first road start for Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who comes off a 4-1 loss to Cleveland as a -300 favorite. The Dodgers have lost four of Yamamoto's past six regular-season road starts. Toronto starter Kevin Gausman (0.75 ERA) leads the majors in strikeouts (21), making this an excellent situational spot for the home dog. Gausman was brilliant in his opener against the A's, earning a win, and he followed it up with another excellent start vs. the Rockies, hitting double-digit strikeouts in both games. The Jays need to lean on their ace to halt this five-game skid. With Ohtani the probable starter in tomorrow's finale, now is the time to make it happen. Play Toronto.
