Los Angeles at Pittsburgh

The Los Angeles Dodgers have not run through the schedule to this point in the season the way most thought they would. LA's depth is now being challenged, and they have slipped to a 5-7 record in their past 12 games. The Dodgers took some of the pressure off, winning the series opener yesterday as a -190 favorite with Walker Buehler (5-0) on the hill, but there is a big fall-off in talent today as they hand the ball over to Tony Gonsolin. It's the right-hander's first start of 2021, and in 17 career starts the Dodgers own just a 8-9 record. Fading Los Angeles in those starts brought in a +27% ROI, and I feel there is excellent value on the Pirates today as they try and even the series. Make the play on Pittsburgh.
