The Los Angeles Dodgers keep fighting for their playoffs lives, and got a big win here last night 3-1. The strong Dodgers’ rotation has gotten a lift from rookie Stephen Fife who has recorded a nifty 2.49 ERA over his four starts on the season. Matt Latos has been spotty despite a 12-4 record, as his ERA is just a tad above average at 3.76. The Dodgers have stepped-up big vs. the best at 8-3 in their last 11 games when playing on the road vs. a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600. The Reds’ stalled-out offense is not a good sign going forward as they are 1-4 in their last five after plating 2 or fewer runs in their previous game. Play the Dodgers in this one.
