The Cubs appear to have a huge pitching edge in the night cap, as they will send Mike Montgomery to the mound. Montgomery has been dealing as a starter, as he has made five starts on the season, while pitching to a 1.14 ERA. he is off a one run, two hit six-inning stint vs. Milwaukee his last time out. The Dodgers will counter with Rich Hill who has not pitched in over a month, as his last outing lasted two pitches and he was removed with blisters. Hill was not pitching well before hitting the DL, as he had a 6.20 ERA over six starts. It's hard to see him having success here, as hs was pitching poorly when healthy, and is off a month layoff coming off the DL to get the start. Play Chicago in Game 2.
