Los Angeles at Atlanta

The last place Los Angeles Dodgers are 3,000 miles from home and playing the third of a six-game road trip. This team can't hit; 29th in baseball in runs scored and slugging, and are coming off a 3-1 loss yesterday. When they lose, they don't lose by one run, as in their last three losses the scores have been 3-1, 8-5, and 6-2. And they have their worst pitcher on the mound in Matt Magill (6.92 ERA), who has walked 10 in 13 innings along with 13 hits allowed. The Dodgers are 2-10 against a team with a winning record and 0-6 as an underdog.  They face a first place Atlanta squad that is 36-15 in their last 51 home games, and has Mike Minor (5-2, 2.75 ERA) on the hill with a 2-0 record and a 2.18 ERA his last three starts. Minor struck out four batters and held the Diamondbacks to one run over 6.2 innings in Monday's 10-1 win. He's won his last two starts 10-1 and 7-2, and look for another rout today.
