Los Angeles at Atlanta

Tyler Glasnow makes his long-awaited return to the mound tonight after four months out with a back injury, and the Dodgers could not be picking a better time to have him back. Los Angeles has won six straight, taking 7 of its last 10 to open a wide lead atop the NL West, and Glasnow's rehab starts were nearly spotless: two earned runs allowed across his final four tune-ups with plenty of swing-and-miss stuff intact. Atlanta counters with Bryce Elder, who has cooled significantly since a dominant first half and now sits at a 3.92 ERA on the year. The Braves still lead the NL East, but they've gone just 3-7 in their last ten games and arrive on the tail end of a rough stretch that just snapped with a single win. This is also a series opener, and a good road team taking the first game of a set against an opponent that just broke a slide is a setup my numbers have liked all year.
