Los Angeles at Texas

The Texas Rangers are not expected to contend this year, but what they are contending with is a lot of early season injuries, that is going to plague their pitching for awhile. But, their offense has picked up. The Rangers' attack, which started slow, generating just 18 runs in their first seven games at 2.6 per contest has plated 23 over their last five at 4.6 a contest. LA has had no problem producing runs, with 46 in their last six games, at nearly eight per contest. This certainly looks like a battle of teams swinging the bats strong early on. Over the past couple of seasons, the Rangers are 72-62 vs. winning teams. Take the Rangers and the OVER here.
