The Los Angeles Angels are in a similar fate as the Philadelphia Phillies. They have the pitching to be a winning team, but their offense has killed them and has squandered many a well-pitched game. Ervin Santana may not help that cause as he is just about a full run worse on the road opposed to pitching at home. The Angels are just 10-15 on the road, and are favored here. That role doesn't have any value at all especially with a suspect road pitcher on the hill, which Santana has been. Santana has led the Angels to the Heartbreak Hotel, with a 2-11 mark in his last 13 starts. The M's are getting enough out of Beavens at home where they are 5-2 in his last seven starts here.
