Los Angeles at Philadelphia

The Phillies will start the second half with a razor-thin 0.5 game lead over the New York Mets in the NL East. Jesus Luzardo will get the ball to open the 2nd half at home vs. the LA Angels. Luzardo is 6-3 on the season with a 4.14 ERA. Luzardo's numbers are marred by a two-start stretch in which he allowed 20 earned runs over five innings of work. He has made 14 starts, not including the two horrible starts, and has allowed three or fewer runs in 12 of them, so he has been much better than the numbers suggest. The Phillies will face Jose Soriano, who has been 6-4 on the road this season, where he has pitched much better. Soriano, in his last 14 starts, has allowed more than three runs in just 3 of them. I like the UNDER in this one.
