Shohei Otani is gathering momentum as an MVP candidate. He is pitching well and hitting well and one would think it should lead to team success, but far from it. The problem is the rest of Angels' roster is devoid of competitive talent and they enter the game at 22-27 on the season and falling out of playoff hopes. Oakland develops players as a small market team and continues to win and compete. The A's are a more balanced team and continue to win and I don't see them stumbling here at home vs the Angels. Make the play on Oakland.
