Los Angeles at Oakland

Over the last two seasons, the Los Angeles Angels have been labeled a contender to win it all. The verdict is in, and this team is simply not as good as the sum of their parts, as they carry a losing record into this contest over the last two years. Oakland just keeps winning, but the line here is based on perception and not reality. The A's are a remarkable 41-13 in their last 54 when posted as a home favorite, and they have been downright lethal vs. right handed pitching where they own a 51-19 record here at home. They are also 9-3 at home behind Milone as a favorite. The numbers just don't add up for this one, so the play is on Oakland.
