Lefty Reid Detmers is going for LA in the second-half of this doubleheader, his ninth start of the season. Detmers is 2-2 but he's held hitters to a .181 average in 40+ innings, striking out 27 with an impressive 0.91 WHIP. That's a big improvement over last year's numbers, where hitters were .295 against the rook (1.79 WHIP), and I think we're getting great value here based on the Angels current slump.
