Los Angeles at Cleveland

The Los Angeles Angels caught fire as did the bat of Albert Pujols, with the latter being inevitable. They are starting to cool down and dropped their game with the Indians last night. The pen has been taxed heavily of late as the Angels have now allowed 40 runs in five games around a Jered Weaver shutout. While the Angels got hot, Ervin Santana did not and he is 4-8 on the season with an ERA of 5.12. The Angels have lost 11 of his 16 starts and he has no doubt been the weakest link in the rotation. When he starts on regular four days rest, the Angels are 2-11 in their last 13. The Tribe is taking the cash as a home dog where they are 6-1 in their last seven, and have won five of Lowe's last seven starts at home. The Tribe is 9-3 vs. Santana lifetime, and 5-1 in their last six. Play on Cleveland.
