Los Angeles at Chicago

The Cubs are the better team, but factors here balance the game and make the Angels a worthy underdog. The Angels evened their record to 3-3 by shutting out Chicago, 2-0, last night. Now the Angels have their pitching leader, Yusei Kikuchi, on the mound against fellow lefty Matthew Boyd. The Cubs were 19-23 vs lefties last season. Kikuchi had the 14th most strikeouts in the American League last season. His weakness is giving up home runs. However, there is strong wind at Wrigley Field today that should impact the offenses and negate the Cubs' power advantage. The Angels appear to have found their closer, too, in Jordan Romano. He got his second save of the season, pitching 2/3 innings last night. Boyd was an unlikely All-Star last season, but got tagged for six runs in 3 2/3 innings in Chicago's season-opening loss to Washington. Take the Angels.
