Los Angeles at Baltimore

Baltimore lost for the first time in five games as Pittsburgh threw a seven-hit shutout on Sunday and the Orioles have split their past eight games while averaging only 2.0 runs per game. Tonight they face Shohei Ohtani, who is 4-1 with a 2.74 ERA and 0.91 WHIP with 66 strikeouts in 46 innings and with a .143 opponent batting average. Los Angeles has won six of his past seven starts although he does come off a 3-1 loss to Houston when he allowed three runs on six hits in seven innings. Grayson Rodriguez goes for the Orioles and he has given up eight runs on 15 hits his past 9 1/3 innings. The Angel bullpen has a 1.21 WHIP and 14 saves this season and Ohtani is expected to go six or seven innings and he has allowed only seven runs in 32 innings for a 1.97 ERA in night games this year.
