The Baltimore Orioles were in a deep pit, and as recently as the 2021 season they lost 110 games. They finally broke through with 83 wins in 2023, and went on to win 101 games a year ago (including playoffs). This team is now a solid contender with rising stars and a strong pitching staff. They will take on the Angels, who no longer have the best player in baseball (Ohtani), and they struggled with him. It is hard to believe, but the Angels are off their eighth straight losing season. The Orioles now have Corbin Burnes at the top of the rotation, and he has a career record of 65-43. The Angels are starting Patrick Sandoval, and if he is their best starter, it will be a long season. The Angels own a woeful 4-17 mark in his last 21 starts. Huge edge for the Orioles here.
