Los Angeles at Baltimore

The Angels have lost far more than they've won this season, sitting at 43-69 with little to play for, but tonight's price has more to do with the mess Baltimore brings into this series opener than anything Los Angeles has done. The Orioles are a day removed from the trade deadline, and their originally scheduled starter tonight, Dean Kremer, is now a Minnesota Twin. The offense hasn't helped matters either: blanked in three of its last five games and coming off consecutive scoreless outings. Grayson Rodriguez doesn't make the case pretty on his own numbers. He's carrying a 7.98 ERA this season, but he draws a Baltimore lineup that can't find the plate right now and a rotation hole that didn't exist 48 hours ago. When a team scrambles its roster the day after selling off pieces, the price tends to run softer than it should. We're on the Angels tonight.
