Kumar Rocker displayed some of his vast potential in his last start. That was a 5-1 home victory over the Pirates last Tuesday. Rocker allowed one run on four hits with five strikeouts and a walk in six innings. Rocker gets the A's at home today. The A's are 18th in scoring despite playing in the best hitting park in the American League. The A's remain without injured Brent Rooker, who smacked 30 homers last year. Converted relief pitcher J.T. Ginn gets the start for the A's. He has yet to pitch more than 5.1 innings in a game this season and will have to deal with a hot hitting Josh Jung, who has two career homers against Ginn and is batting .371 this month. The Rangers have the second lowest bullpen era at 2.95. The A's have a 4.18 bullpen ERA. Take the Rangers.
