Kansas City at St. Louis

Two teams who are at the bottom of their respective divisions meet, but St. Louis has the clear edge in tonight's matchup as Kansas City is 9-17 on the road and it's up against Miles Mikolas, who has allowed only five runs his past four starts in 24 1/3 innings and the Cardinals won all four. Mikolas comes off seven shutout innings on five hits versus Cincinnati on Thursday in a 2-1 Cardinal victory. Zack Greinke's career appears to be coming to an end as he is 1-5 with a 4.55 ERA and the Royals have lost his past three starts although the bullpen had a lot to do with it. St. Louis hitters are batting .271 with five homers against Grienke in 133 at-bats. Look for the Cardinals to bounce back from Monday's 7-0 loss when they didn't get a man on base until the eighth inning as they are 7-1 following a loss and 8-3 after allowing at least five runs their previous game.
