Kansas City at St. Louis

Both teams are struggling lately with St Louis especially underachieving losing seven of its last nine games following Sunday's 5-4 defeat at Texas. Kansas City snapped a four-game losing streak with a 5-1 victory against the Angels and now travels to St. Louis. The Royals are 11-5 their last 16 games when following an off day. The Cardinals are 4-10 versus right-handed starters and they have lost five of their last six home games. Michael Wacha has pitched worse than his 3-1 record indicates as he owns a 4.93 ERA and until his last start was getting good run support. Wacha has allowed 12 runs on 20 hits in 15 innings at home this season with a .323 batting average. The value lies with the road underdog, so play the Royals.
