Kansas City bounced back from a humiliating loss on Friday with a 5-4 win over the Athletics as Jorge Soler hit a tiebreaking home run in the eight after the Royals blew a four-run lead. The Royals have won four of their last six and have won nine of Jakob Junis's last 13 home starts. Oakland has lost four of six and now face Junis, who has been one of the few bright spots for the Royals as he has allowed more than three runs just once his last six starts and he had a 3.86 ERA in May in six appearances. Daniel Gossett is 0-3 with a 6.05 ERA for the Athletics, who have lost all four of his starts. Gossett has given up 13 runs in 19 1/3 innings while issuing six walks. Take the Royals.
