Milwaukee had the day off after sweeping the Reds and scoring 26 runs in the three games. The Brewers are hitting on all cylinders and lead the NL Central by 7 1/2 games while Kansas City is floundering in last place in the AL Central having lost eight of its past 10. The Royals have lost 46 of their past 67 games overall and 37 of 52 as underdogs. The Brewers have won 12 of their past 13 home games versus teams with losing records, and they are 25-6 against losing teams overall. Milwaukee has won three of Eric Lauer's last four starts, and he has allowed just two runs on 12 hits in 12 1/3 innings his last two appearances. Mike Minor is 6-8 with a 5.67 ERA for the Royals and he has been shelled for 24 runs on 30 hits his last 20 innings. Take the Brewers.
