Kansas City at Detroit

The Detroit Tigers were sailing along, looking like the team everyone expected as they appeared to be on their way to running away from the pack in the AL Central. Since rattling off six straight wins, the Tigers  have lost their way as they are just 9-18 over their last 27 games. They will do battle with a red-hot Kansas City team that produced 11 runs last night, making it eight straight wins. The Royals have out-scored their opponents in the eight games by 56-25, winning seven of the eight by 3 runs or more. The Tigers are 4-12 in their last 16 as a favorite, and have now dropped five straight at home vs. a team with a winning record. The Royals are also winning on the road where their streak stands at six. Back the Royals.
