Kansas City at Detroit

The Royals have had trouble winning on the road for years. This year is no exception as they enter tonight's contest with the Tigers at 24-39 on the season. Their last 17 road games are even worse at 3-14. Kyle Davies is not the answer either with his 5.14 ERA for the season. The Tigers are tough at home with their 42-24 mark for the season, and that improves over their last 58 home games to 40-18 when facing a team with a losing record. The Royals have managed just an 8-20 mark in their last 28 posted as a dog, and facing high totals on the road from 9-10.5, they have dropped seven straight games. I like Detroit in this one.
