Kansas City at Cleveland

The best team to this point of the season has been the Kansas City Royals, and they are likely to get better with the addition of Johnny Cueto to an already good rotation. Chris Young has posted good numbers, but they have slowly eroded as we go deeper into the season. In his last seven starts he has failed to go more than six innings in any of them. With Cueto aboard, he is pitching to survive his spot in the rotation. The Indians counter with Trevor Bauer, who has been struggling, but owns a win over Youg, and the Royals this season in a two run, four hit 6.2 inning performance. Bauer has been at his best when pitching in rotation on four days of rest, where the Tribe is 4-1 in his last five, and he has also been sharp vs. winning teams, leading the Tribe to a 5-2 record in his last seven against them.
