Kansas City at Boston

The Boston Red Sox has done well on their homestand. They swept the Yankees in three straight, and have taken the first two from the Royals in this series, but it hasn't been easy as the Sox have won both by a single run. The Royals have really struggled as they have now dropped seven in a row. They do have a strong option on the mound in Mike Minor as the Royals who are 12 games under .500 overall, are a .500 team at 8-8 when Minor takes the hill. Boston goes with Martin Perez who had a stretch of four straight Sox wins, but overall he has been a sub-.500 pitcher for his career and outside of those four games this season. I like Kansas City in this one.
