Kansas City at Baltimore

Baltimore looks to accomplish something today it hasn't done in nearly two years. A win today gives the Orioles a five game winning streak - something of a rarity for O's fans. The good news for Baltimore is they host Kansas City. The Royals are just 5-13 ont he road this season, averaging 3.9 runs per game. Over their past seven games, they are averaging only 3.1 runs per game. Jeremy Guthrie (3.45 ERA, 2.90 at home) should have little trouble keeping the Royals in check. Baltimore is not a good team, but they take care of business vs. weaker teams this season as they are 16-6 vs. losing teams this year. Take Baltimore. I also like the UNDER. KC is really struggling to hit this season, especially on the road. Baltimore averages just 4.0 runs per game at home. The starting pitchers here are good and KC's bullpen is very good. Over the past three seasons, the Royals are 27-12 UNDER on the road after allowing 8+ runs. Over that span, they are also 20-6 UNDER on the road following a loss by 6+ runs.
