LOSS

Houston is always worth a look as a go-against, with a terrible pitching staff and an offense that is 20th in baseball in runs, batting average, and slugging. They are off a win yesterday, but can they sustain that? They usually don't, on a 5-17 run. They certainly won't sustain it with Lucas Harrell (5.11 ERA) on the mound, who is 0-2 with an 8.79 ERA his last three starts walking 13 in 14 innings! For the season he has 29 walks and 59 hits allowed in 49 innings. Pittsburgh has been good at home (14-9) and a great bounce back team, with the Pirates 10-3 following a loss. Starter Jeff Locke (3-1, 3.15 ERA) has been strong with Pittsburgh outscoring opponents 15-4 in his four wins. The Astros are 7-19 in the last 26 meetings in Pittsburgh so look for a one-sided rout. Play the Pirates on the Run-Line.
