Houston at Los Angeles

Justin Verlander won his last start despite allowing four runs in 5 1/3 innings against Oakland, but he still is 10-2 with a 2.09 ERA on the road and a .205 opponent batting average. Verlander has stymied the Angels this season giving up only two runs in 22 innings and Los Angeles hitters are batting just .177 against him this year. Fifteen of those innings have come at Angel Stadium and the Angels have been held scoreless at home by the right-hander.  Jaime Barria has been good for about five innings and he has a 3.66 ERA at home. However, Houston is back on track after a rough stretch and is a different team with Jose Altuve back in the lineup. The Astros have won three in a row and are 45-21 on the road. The Angels are doomed to finish fourth in the AL West and have lost four straight. Houston has won five of the last six meetings. Take the Astros.
