Chicago snapped a three-game skid with a 3-1 win over the Astros on Saturday as Luis Robert Jr. hit a solo homer in the fourth and a go-ahead single in the eighth and the White Sox got six shutout innings from Dylan Cease. Today it is Lucas Giolito on the mound and he has pitched much better than his record indicates especially recently as he has allowed only nine runs his past five starts covering 32 2/3 innings. The White Sox won his last start on Tuesday when he gave up two runs on five hits in six innings against Kansas City and he has allowed just three runs in 19 2/3 innings at home this season. Houston has lost Hunter Brown's past two starts and he hasn't made it through the fifth inning in either of them. Hunter gave up four runs on nine hits in 4 1/3 innings versus the Dodgers on Monday.
