Houston at Boston

The Boston Red Sox exploded for eight first inning runs last night at Toronto on their way to an easy win. They head to Houston tonight to take on the Astros. The Astros, however, lost their leadoff man and some power when George Springer suffered a broken wrist after getting hit by a pitch. Boston will go with Justin Masterson, who was completely lost early, but after a month absence he came back strong, dealing five innings without allowing an earned run. Houston has not fared well on the road to high totals as they are 33-73 in their last 106 on the road to a total of 9 to 10.5, while Boston is now 6-1 at home behind Masterson to a total of 9 to 10.5 in his last seven.
