Houston at Baltimore

This shapes up as a bullpen game for the Astros with Kai-Wei Teng making his first start in his 12th appearance. The most he has pitched in a game this season is 2.2 innings. This is not a good blueprint for the Astros. They have the highest bullpen ERA by far at 6.31. But that's what happens to a team that is down three starting pitchers, including ace Hunter Brown. The Astros also have a cluster injury problem in their outfield and are missing perhaps their most valuable infielder, shortstop Jeremy Pena, out with a knee injury. Baltimore's bats have started to come around. If you discount a 17-1 loss to the Red Sox, the Orioles are averaging 6.6 runs in their last five games. Orioles starter Shane Baz is off to a bumpy start, but he was a decent pitcher for Tampa Bay the previous two seasons. This is a good time to fade Houston, which has lost 10 of its 13 away games this season. Take the Orioles.
