Houston comes off an 8-1 victory over Toronto on Wednesday as Jeremy Pena capped a six-run eighth with a three-run homer. Hunter Brown goes tonight for the Astros and they have won his past two starts and he allowed no earned runs on seven hits in 14 innings in those two games. Bryce Elder gave up three runs on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings against Kansas City on Saturday. Atlanta had an eight-game win streak snapped in a 1-0 loss to San Diego on Wednesday.
