Detroit at Texas

Detroit's bullpen blew another game last night after the Tigers had tied it 5-5 on Eric Haase's three-run homer. That means more trouble tonight for the Tigers as Casey Mize is scheduled to start, but he will be limited to two or three innings as manager A.J. Hinch plans on being very careful with his young arms. Texas has played somewhat better recently after a terrible stretch earlier in the season and the Rangers have won six of their last 10, including Tuesday's 10-5 victory. John Hicks became the first player in franchise history to homer in his first four games with the franchise. Kyle Gibson has been one of the biggest surprises in baseball with a 6-0 record and 1.98 ERA after what up to this year has been a mediocre career. Play the Rangers.
