Detroit at Minnesota

The Minnesota Twins are 54-48 on the season and continue to pace the AL Central. They will send Chris Archer to the mound who has a good sample size of 13 starts vs the Tigers where he has dealt a 3.44 ERA. His past three vs. this Tigers team, Archer has allowed just one earned run in each of the three starts. Tigers starter Matt Manning has not beaten the Twins in two career starts and has a lofty ERA of 5.40. The Twins have another huge edge having gone 18-5 in their last 23 vs. Detroit, including 6-1 this year after taking the series opener 5-3. I like Minnesota in this one.
