Detroit at Milwaukee

Sometimes a bad team plays well over the course of a long season, and the Detroit Tigers have experienced a bit of a bump. They swept the Yankees at home in three straight, but they fell to a rather hot Milwaukee team, 3-2, in the series opener. The theme has been solid pitching. While they lost to the Brewers the final score was 3-2, marking four straight strong outings for the Tigers' staff. They have now allowed just nine total runs in their last four games.
