Kansas City took advantage of another weak team and defeated the Tigers 4-1 on Tuesday. Maikel Garcia had three hits as the teams combined to leave 21 men on base. The Royals get another opportunity to get a win against Matthew Boyd, who owns an ugly 6.21 ERA and 1.46 WHIP and has allowed 17 earned runs his past four starts covering 18 1/3 innings. Zack Greinke has pitched better lately following a slow start, but hasn't had much to show for it. He has gone five innings three of his past four starts and gave up more than two runs once. Greinke has done his best work at home where he has given up 10 earned runs in 28 innings. Detroit is 11-25 against opponents that allowed two or fewer runs their previous game and the weak-hitting Tigers average only 3.6 runs per game. Take the Royals as a Max Play.
