The Tigers were expected to dominate the AL Central, but a 10-10 start left some questions. Those questions have disappeared in a 7-1 run that has landed the Tigers back atop the division. Houston was really bad in the NL, and continue to be equally bad moving to the AL. This is a team that is 31-86 in their last 117 games which translates to 110 losses over a full season. Their track record takes an even bigger turn south when they face a top pitcher as they are a woeful 13-52 vs. a pitcher with a WHIP of under 1.15 in their last 65. That defies the odds here, so play on Detroit.
