WIN

Ricky Porcello has yet to return or find that rookie magic, but he has pitched well enough to win. Over his last three starts, he has been more effective and consistent, allowing a single run in two of them. The Tigers continue to win as he keeps them in games and eats innings, with the Tigers compiling a 16-6 mark in his last 22 starts. John Danks has had a trying season with a 6-11 mark, and the Sox are 10-14 in his 24 starts overall. Those numbers look bad enough, but when he has taken to the mound vs. a winning team, the White Sox stand at 4-9. The Tigers are getting contagiously good pitching, propelling them to 10-1 in their last 11 following a game where they allowed 2 runs or fewer. Porcello is hot on the road with the Tigers, bringing home the bacon in six of his last seven road starts. The White Sox are just 7-19 in Danks’ last 26 starts vs. division foes. Take Detroit for the money.
