Matthew Boyd has been Detroit's best pitcher by far this season with a 1.82 ERA and 0.84 WHIP while allowing only one home run in 34 2/3 innings. All he needs is more run support and he would be one of the premier pitchers in the American League. Boyd allowed only one earned run in eight innings against Kansas City his last outing on Saturday and Chicago hitters are batting just .197 against him in 136 at-bats. Dylan Cease goes for the White Sox and he hasn't made it through the fifth inning this year in four starts. The Tigers are batting .390 with a .747 slugging percentage versus Cease. Look for Detroit to pounce on this opportunity and play the Tigers on the run line.
