Colorado at Washington

The Colorado Rockies have long tailored their offense to hitter-friendly Coors Field and things change when this team is playing on the road. The Rockies have big problems right now as they opened the season at 40-34 and looked like a playoff contender but have since crashed and burned having gone 7-21 in their last 28 games. They have been losing by 2.6 runs per game and have allowed nearly seven runs a game over the stretch. That is not a good formula vs. Max Scherzer who seldom allows much at all. Play on Washington.
