A lousy road trip continues for Colorado, riding a four-game skid. They lost three of those games as chalk and are favored again today. The Rockies are 19-41 on the road against a team with a losing home record, plus 41-84 away vs. a right-handed starter. The season is slipping away from the Rockies, who have allowed 59 runs in their last eight games, losing seven. Colorado right-hander Jon Gray (5.76 ERA) is no stopper, with the Rockies 5-12 in his last 17 starts. And if you think his ERA is high because of Coors Field guess again, he has a losing road mark with a 4.94 ERA. San Diego is home for the fifth straight contest, winning the first two of this series by an 8-3 count. In fact, they've won three of four scoring 35 runs!
