Colorado at Milwaukee

Colorado is glad to get out of St. Louis after dropping three of four. Still, the Rockies have a winning road record and are on a 20-8 run overall. The Colorado offense is eighth in baseball in runs scored, #13 in on-base percentage, fourth in slugging and they head to Milwaukee, an easy home run park. 23-year-old starter German Marquez is throwing well, winning four straight decisions, allowing only three walks while fanning 30 in 27+ innings. Marquez has a 3.15 ERA on the road this year and the Rockies are 20-8 when they face a team with a winning record. Struggling Milwaukee is on a 9-14 run and in a tough situational spot, home from an eight-game road trip out West. They had to play at the Dodgers yesterday and lost 21-5. Brewers 33-year-old righty Junior Guerra has a losing record and has struggled badly over his last three starts, going 0-2 while surrendering 15 runs on 18 hits and seven walks in 14 innings. The Milwaukee pitching staff has allowed 37 runs the last five contests and this is a great spot for the underdog visitors. Take Colorado.
