1 unit on Colorado +166 (moneyline) (risk 1 to return 2.66) RESULT: LOSS
The Colorado Rockies have had another disappointing season, as their deep and power-laden offense, geared for Coors Field, simply has not been able to out-hit their inconsistent and subpar rotation and bullpen. Arizona will go with Robbie Ray who has pitched better than his 5-12 record, but sometimes a pitcher seems to draw the short straw, which has been the unfortunate case for Ray this season. The Rockies turn to Christian Bergman, who has worked out of the pen most of the year, but has recorded a win in his two previous starts. Them Rockies have played well down the stretch inside the division at 5-1 in their last eight, and own a 6-2 record in their last six series openers. Arizona a miserable 1-8 in Ray's last nine home starts. Back the road-dog Rockies.
