Cleveland at Texas

Cleveland has won two in a row and wrapped up second place in the AL Central and defeated the Rangers 9-6 on Friday night as Jose Ramirez drove in three runs with two singles. Triston McKenzie is on the mound tonight and he has shown flashes of brilliance this season although his overall record doesn't indicate it. However, he had a 1.93 ERA in August and had one bad outing in September to raise his monthly ERA to 4.74. Texas will be seeing him for the first time. Jordan Lyles is 9-13 with a 5.31 ERA and he has given up eight runs on 15 hits his last 10 1/3 innings. Lyles faced the Indians once this year and was clobbered for eight runs on nine hits in only 3 2/3 innings. Cleveland has won five of the last six meetings and it is 58-26 its past 84 games against teams with .400 or below winning percentages. Take the Indians.
