The Indians are a team that has starved for offense all season long and they have finally got it. The Indians have now won five in a row and 11 of 14, and the offense has been blazing. They have averaged six runs a game over the 14 game hot-streak and an even better 8.5 in their last four. Texas has depended on hitting the entire season and their bats have flamed out for awhile as they have produced just 35 runs in their last nine games, while their suspect staff has allowed 59. The Rangers went the entire first half before the All-Star break without being shutout once, but have since been shutout five times and four of those have occurred in the last two weeks. This team needs their bats to be producing runs to support their horrible pitching, and it is a reason why they are now 3-12 in their last 15. We will ride the hot Indians here to make it two straight over the Rangers.
