WIN

When you pitch for a team that is 23 games below the .500 mark, and each time you take the mound your team has a better than even chance of winning, you know there is a quality pitcher on the hill. That certainly defines what Jose Fernandez has done for the Marlins. He gets better with each passing start, and over his last 10 starts the Marlins are 8-2 while he has pitched to a sterling 1.88 ERA. The Marlins have won each of his last six home starts. Cleveland has put together enough pieces to remain a contender, but at six games below .500 on the road, they have not finalized this piece yet, and it will ultimately keep them out of the playoffs. The Tribe's road woes are enhanced when facing right-handed pitching, where they are 16-40 in their last 56 on the road when facing one. Play on Miami.
