The Cleveland Indians are in the middle of a tight Wild Card race in the AL, where they trail the Seattle Mariners by a scant two games. One reason the Tribe is over the .500 mark is the development of Corey Kluber. Kluber has turned into a top-of-the-rotation pitcher, and owns a 10-6 mark backed by a strong 2.95 ERA. Kluber has stopped the Royals' attack with a career mark of 4-1 against them, limiting them to a team average of .222. Danny Duffy has been just as good for Kansas City, but his 2.66 ERA on the season has delivered a disappointing 5-10 record as the Royals bats have been a letdown. Cleveland touched him up for 4 runs on 10 hits over six innings the last time they squared off. The Indians have an impressive 40-19 mark in their last 59 as a road favorite, and are 9-1 in Kluber's last 10 starts if he is off a quality start in his previous outing. The Royals have taken the doughnut in Duffy's last five starts as a dog at 0-5. Make the play on Cleveland.
