Cleveland at Detroit

The Detroit Tigers were expected to challenge the Kansas City Royals in the AL Central, but that never materialized. Tonight they face a Cleveland team that has what looks like a pretty strong rotation, but the bats have let them down much of the season. Cleveland's bullpen is short an arm or two, and thus they have been left out of the postseason equation as well. Corey Kluber has had a trying season as he is 8-13 despite a 3.41 ERA. As noted above, the hitting has been shaky, as well as the pen, and many times he has seen wins turn into no-decisions or losses. Kluber has had other issues, surrendering six HRs in his last three starts, and the Tigers can hit the long ball as well as any team. The Tribe is an ugly 2-8 behind Kluber in his last 10 starts in a series opener. Take Detroit.
