Cleveland at Detroit

No matter how improved Detroit is this season it still can't seem to beat the Indians, who have won an astouding 60 of the past 77 meetings overall and 39 of 53 at Detroit. The Tigers will go with Wily Peralta tonight and although he got off to a good start with his new team, the right-hander has stumbled lately allowing 18 runs (14 earned) on 23 hits in 18 2/3 innings. Peralta made it through five innings against Cleveland on Sunday while giving up five runs on six hits in a 7-5 loss. The Indians beat the Tigers again last night 7-4 as rookie Ernie Clement hit his first two major league home runs. The Tigers are 46-105 their past 151 games versus AL Central teams and they're dealing with several key injuries. Take the Indians.
